Meet Dr. Shawn Dill
You probably already know him, or know of him but unless you have spent a good deal of time with him, chances are you really don’t know who he is or just how huge an impact he is making in chiropractic.
My first exposure to Dr. Dill was through my good friend Dr. Jack Bourla when I came up to speak at their San Francisco Bay Area philosophy meeting. Over the years I, like most of you, have seen him traveling all over the world speaking, teaching and inspiring chiropractors and students to refine their art and the understanding of our philosophy.
He is the developer of the upper cervical technique, the Art of the Specific.
He is the CEO of The Specific Chiropractic Centers and now operates 20 Knee Chest Upper Cervical Specific clinics around the world.
He is on the Board of Directors of the International Federation of Chiropractors and Organizations.
And just recently he was elected to the Board of Governors of the Australian Spinal Research Foundation.
So what does he do in his free time?
He coaches chiropractors and other service professionals (DrShawnDill.com) and has created an incredible mastermind in the Black Diamond Club. (be sure to check out the slick website, one of our best designs for sure.)
I’ve personally been coaching with Dr. Dill for over 8 months and have never once regretted it. When I choose to work with someone it’s because they display traits, skills or knowledge I wish to model, learn or grow from. I don’t step into those relationships lightly and I can tell you that if you get the opportunity to work closely with him (he’s currently booked solid) you want to snatch it up.
In those 8 months he has already made me many times over what my investment has been. He also has helped this business grow, develop systems and create the infrastructure for major growth as well as setting the stage for some major developments with my current practice and the many practices that are soon to follow.

1. What is BDC?
The Black Diamond Club is a mastermind group that now consists of over 240 members.
The group caters to service professionals who have a vision for serving humanity and realize that the path to reaching more people is to build a successful business.
The group was necessitated out of all of the negativity that we saw in a lot of the groups on social media where questions were never answered and where challenging the authority resulted in nasty confrontation from the group admins.
The Black Diamond Club is a community that does not recognize any one person as the authority. We believe that there is more than one right way to do anything.
As a member of BDC you have access to our active Facebook Group where there are daily discussions on a myriad of topics. We also do regular Facebook Lives where we dig deeper into topics that have come up that require more discussion or explanation.
You also will receive access to our weekly podcast, which many members have said are an integral part of their weekly disciplines or routines. Many smaller mastermind groups have joined BDC together and discuss the weekly podcasts as they meet.
Finally, you will receive our monthly Carbonado Marketing Sheet, which is a printed analysis of trends in marketing and how you can implement them in a service based business.
2. Why did you create it?
There are several reasons why I created the Black Diamond Club. The first of which we discussed in the previous question.
Beyond that, personally, I stand for a world where health and success are known as fundamental truths rather than fundamental pursuits.
It pains me to look out at a world where there are those who are so talented and skilled at delivering a service that truly can change the world, but who simply lack the business acumen to reach the masses.
I do not have a degree in business, marketing or psychology. But I have made tons of mistakes in my 21 years of being in practice. I’m not the smartest guy in the world. But I have done very well for myself and have learned how to communicate some basic tenets of success that if followed, have yielded huge results again and again.
BDC fills a void that no other group or out there is currently serving.
3. What do members get from being a part of BDC?
Well, we covered that as well in the first response.
However, beyond the benefits such as the Facebook Group, the podcasts or the Carbonado Marketing Sheet, the greatest benefit is the COMMUNITY.
There members bring to the community a vast array of experiences. We have leaders of professions, professional speakers, millionaires and people who are just starting their business.
It is the community that makes the experience worth the investment!
4. What will you be covering at the BDC Sales Workshop?
I find that the major issue that faces most service providers is that they are very weak at sales.
Most of them get lured into all of the great “marketing” seminars and gurus who invade your Facebook feed everyday.
The problem is that marketing does not put money in your pocket. If you signed up for a program that would generate 20 new clients to your business, but did not know how to effectively sell them on your service, your business would not be any better off than it is today.
The sales workshop will cover how to effectively communicate to and move your prospect through the sales process so that they see value in your service.
We do not teach sleazy sales tactics. We believe in selling from a place of integrity.
We will be covering effective and persuasive communication strategies that can be used in print, email communications, social media, presentations and of course, one on one.
